NZ Book Council
Hi Everyone
In the past our school belonged to his organisation but felt they were not receiving any benefits so have not belonged for sometime. I am wondering how many of you could counter that argument and feel they receive great benefits through their membership.
I would like one/some authors or illustrators to visit our school during our Book Week in August and know this is possible through the Council but am wondering what other avenues might be open to me.

Hi Cathy, I too am interested in any answers to your questions regarding the NZ Book Council. I am also looking at joining SLANZA and Storylines but am unsure as to which will bring the most benefit to our library. Any feedback would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed our day last week. I now have a long list of things to try and do and just need to find the time!
Cheers,
Kerri

ReplyDeleteI have belonged to Storylines for years now as a personal member. I just love keeping up to date with new books and authors events etc. I volunteer for them at their festival in August too and thats fun. They regularly send out books lists for different age groups based around themes.
SLANZA our school joined this year for $50 and thats keeping us abreast with events etc.
Hope it helps.
