Some Display Ideas








These are a couple of really basic displays I've put together... one for Eric Carle's Hungry Caterpillar - celebrating 40 years in 2009; one just for our Picture Books collection and the third one for the My Story series.

    Hi Jayne, I love your displays and am keen to do some more myself. Can you tell me where you sourced the pics for the Hungry Caterpillar and also the lovely ones (Arthur, Narnia etc) in the Picture Book display? Are they just printed in colour from the computer or do you have a secret source!? Cheers, Kerri Hartley-Jones

    For all the displays, I've just colour photocopied pictures from books. The Hungry Caterpillar 40th birthday poster is from the official Penguin birthday website at: http://us.penguingroup.com/static/pages/yr/pdf/caterpillar.pdf

    There's also great activities at this site including cut-outs for making a mobile. I've got some of our junior classes colouring in and making the mobiles for me, to hang in the Library. They look great!
